Josh Spry

Josh Spry is an experienced legal professional specializing in energy and project development. Currently serving as Acting Regional General Counsel North America and Legal Manager at Fortescue since September 2021, Josh focuses on project development, joint ventures, and offtake within FFI's international green hydrogen and green ammonia portfolio. Prior to Fortescue, Josh was a Senior Associate at K&L Gates, working on various oil and gas, LNG, renewables, and hydrogen projects, as well as authoring the UK Chapter of the K&L Gates Hydrogen Handbook. Previous roles also include legal positions at Sojitz Corporation and Herbert Smith Freehills, where Josh advised on significant M&A and infrastructure projects across multiple sectors. Josh holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) (Hons) and a Bachelor of Arts (BA) from The University of Western Australia.
