Oleg Karavaev has extensive experience in digital design engineering and FPGA design. Oleg began their career in 2004 as an FPGA Design Engineer at Unique IC's, where they worked remotely on projects involving I2S and Huffman decoder. From 2006 to 2010, they worked as a Digital Design Engineer at Joint Stock Company "Russian Space Systems," where they gained experience with Encounter Cadence and worked on various RTL-models of controllers and peripherals.
In 2010, Oleg joined EREMEX LIMITED as a C# Programmer, where they participated in the CAD project "Delta Design" and later transitioned to a full-time role as a programmer. Oleg then worked as an FPGA Design Engineer at Crearo from 2013 to 2014, where they implemented the HDR-video algorithm in FPGA and developed a verification application using C#.
Oleg also worked at Enterprise Modernization Aviation Komplex, LLC from 2016 to 2017, where they focused on FPGA design and video processing, gaining experience with Camera Link and other device-specific protocols. At JSC NIIMA PROGRESS, they worked as a Senior Digital Design Engineer from 2017 to 2020, leading the design of project specifications and interacting with co-executors and verifiers.
Currently, Oleg holds the position of Senior FPGA Design Engineer at FORM, starting in August 2020, and later transitioned to the role of Senior Digital Design Engineer at FortifyIQ in October 2020, where they continue to contribute their expertise in digital design engineering.
Oleg Karavaev obtained their Specialist degree in Autonomous Information and Control Systems from Bauman Moscow State Technical University. Oleg pursued their education at the university from 2001 to 2007.
