Kathaleen Cole

Campus President at FORTIS Colleges and Institutes

Kathaleen Cole has over two decades of work experience in the education and accreditation industry. Starting in 1996, they served as the Director of the Pensacola School of Massage Therapy & Health Careers until 2001. Kathaleen then took on the role of Campus Director at Blue Cliff Career College from 2001 to 2006. In 2006, they joined FORTIS Colleges and Institutes as the Campus President, where they oversaw various departments and provided leadership and guidance for the organization. In 2009, they became a Team Lead at the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools, a position they held until 2018. In 2016, they served as the Chair of the Board of Directors at Career Source Escarosa. Currently, they are a Commissioner at the Accrediting Bureau of Health Education Schools since 2023.

Kathaleen Cole completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Instructional Design and Technology from the University of West Florida, where they studied from 2020 to 2023. Prior to that, they obtained an Associate of Arts degree in English from Pensacola State College, completing their studies in 2020. In 2010, they attended Fortis College-Centerville and earned an Associate of Science degree in Business Administration Human Resources, which they completed in 2012.

In addition to their formal education, Kathaleen has obtained various certifications. Kathaleen received the Foundations of Leadership Certificate 101-2 from The National Society of Leadership and Success in April 2023. Kathaleen has also gained several certifications in different software programs, including Level 1: Access White Belt, Level 2: PowerPoint Yellow Belt, Level 1: Excel White Belt, and Level 2: Word Yellow Belt, which were all awarded by McGraw Hill in 2022.
