Akabir Singh

Akabir Singh is an MEP Project Engineer at Fortis Construction, Inc. since June 2022, having previously interned at the same company in 2021, where contributions included workflow optimization for the Singapore Data Centre Project using Power BI. Akabir's experience includes serving as Head of Unit Branch at the Singapore Civil Defence Force from 2017 to 2019, managing in-camp training and overseeing disciplinary matters for over 7,000 NSMen. Prior roles also include Project Engineer at Changi Airport Group, where project management skills were developed, and an internship at ASM focused on assembling bond heads. Akabir holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical Engineering from the National University of Singapore, supplemented by a diploma in Mechanical Engineering with a business minor from Ngee Ann Polytechnic and an earlier qualification in Mechatronics Engineering from the Institute of Technical Education.
