João Pedro Costa

João Pedro Costa has a diverse range of work experience in the field of sound design and music composition. João Pedro started their career in 2014 as a Freelancer, working as a Music Composer and Sound Designer. João Pedro then joined Bica Studios from June 2014 to August 2016, where they composed original soundtracks for various games and implemented audio assets using FMod Studio and Unity3D.

In 2017, João Pedro Costa worked at Nerd Monkeys® as a Sound Designer, contributing to the audio design of the company's projects. João Pedro also joined ETIC in November 2017 to work on sound design and music for video games.

From September 2019 to March 2022, João Pedro Costa worked at Doppio as an Audio Designer, where they were responsible for various audio-related tasks. Recently, in March 2022, they joined Fortis Games as a Senior Sound Designer, showcasing their expertise in the field.

Throughout their career, João Pedro Costa has demonstrated their proficiency in sound design, music composition, and audio implementation using various tools and software.

João Pedro Costa holds a Bachelor's Degree in Music Technology, which they obtained from the Escola Superior de Música de Lisboa from 2009 to 2013. Prior to that, they pursued Level III studies in Jazz Piano and Theory at JB Jazz, spanning from 2006 to 2009. João Pedro also completed their 5th Degree in Classical Piano and Musical Training from the Instituto Gregoriano de Lisboa between 2000 and 2005. Additionally, João Pedro has obtained several certifications, including "Beginning Game Programming with C#" from Coursera Verified Certificates in May 2015, "Introduction To Game Design" from edX in December 2014, and "Gamification" from Coursera Verified Certificates in May 2013.
