Tiago Keller Ferreira has a wide-ranging and extensive work experience in the field of software engineering, game development, and teaching. Tiago has held various roles in different companies and has consistently demonstrated strong leadership skills and technical expertise.

Tiago's most recent role was as a Technical Director at Fortis Games starting in 2022. Prior to that, they worked at Playco as a Studio CTO from 2021 to 2022, where they were responsible for hiring, mentoring, and growing the careers of engineers and engineering managers, as well as driving development and new features for Playco's Facebook Instant games.

Before Playco, Tiago worked at Cisco from 2019 to 2021 as a Senior Software Engineering Manager. In this role, they oversaw all technical aspects of the team's projects, worked with UX leadership to implement innovative technologies, and helped drive projects to completion in alignment with business/product requirements.

From 2016 to 2019, Tiago held multiple roles at Prodigy Game, including Director of Game Engineering, Manager of Game Engineering, and Lead Game Developer. In these positions, they actively supported and mentored lead developers and managers, directed architectural and technical decisions, promoted development culture and improved processes, and was responsible for hiring and performance evaluation/improvement.

Prior to Prodigy Game, Tiago worked at Refined Data Solutions Inc. as a Lead Software Engineer from 2014 to 2016. Tiago played a key role in enhancing virtual classroom technologies and providing advanced control and performance for video and audio streaming for various clients using AWS, Javascript/AngularJS, Flex, and PHP.

Tiago's experience also includes working as a Lead Game Programmer at Contagious Gaming Inc. from 2012 to 2014, where they were responsible for the technical specification and overall code development process for game projects. Tiago has worked with various technologies such as As3, Starling, C#, Unity3D, HTML5, and CreateJS.

In addition, Tiago has taught computer science courses as a University Lecturer/Professor at IMED from 2011 to 2012, where they taught subjects like Artificial Intelligence, Programming Laboratory, Web Laboratory, and Gaming Programming.

Before their teaching role, Tiago co-founded Decadium Studios in 2004, a game development studio focused on advergames, serious-games, and casual games. As the Game Development Manager, they managed and delivered numerous game projects for various partners and clients using different game technologies such as Unity3D, Flash, HTML5, XNA, and PlayFirst 2D C++ Engine.

Tiago Keller Ferreira completed their education with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from the Universidade Federal de Santa Maria. Tiago attended this institution from 2003 to 2007 and focused their studies in the field of Computer Programming.

After obtaining their Bachelor's degree, Tiago pursued further education and enrolled in the Universidade Federal de Santa Maria once again. From 2008 to 2010, they pursued a Master of Science in Production Engineering, specializing in Strategic planning and Game development.
