George Thompson

George Thompson has over a decade of experience in leadership roles within the energy and customer service sectors. Currently serving as the Manager of EV Infrastructure & Investment at FortisBC since October 2011, George oversees capital upgrades for public fast charging sites and implements various charging rebate programs. Previous positions at FortisBC include the role of CS Business Lead, contributing to transformative customer service projects, and various managerial roles at McDonald's from April 2006 to October 2011, culminating as a Restaurant Manager. Educational qualifications include an Associate of Arts in English Literature from Selkirk College, and additional studies at the British Columbia Institute of Technology and Simon Fraser University.
