Shahzyah Gova

Shahzyah Gova is an accomplished event management professional with extensive experience in special event, corporate, and wedding planning. Currently serving as an Event Specialist at FortisBC since January 2021, Shahzyah has simultaneously held the position of Chief Executive Officer at Elegance Event Planning since May 2007. Prior experience includes roles as Convention Services Manager at Gateway Casinos and Entertainment Limited from February 2011 to January 2022 and Event Planner at The Vancouver Aquarium from February 2008 to February 2011. Shahzyah holds a degree in Events & Conventions Management from Thompson Rivers University and an Event Marketing Certification from BCIT. Educational background includes attending Port Moody Secondary and Meadowridge.
