William Spence

William Spence is an experienced LNG Plant Operator 1 at FortisBC since May 2023, with a strong background in natural gas processing and operations. Previously, William held the role of Plant Team Lead at Pacific Canbriam Energy, overseeing a team of 18 operators in shallow cut natural gas processing, and has also served as a Control Room Operator and Operations Coordinator. William's tenure at Suncor included roles in commissioning and startup operations as well as process operations in various plants. Earlier experience includes work as a Tool Service Technician at Baker Hughes. William's educational background features certifications in power engineering, oil and gas field operations, and emergency response training, supplemented by extensive training through Baker Hughes.
