Zhiwei Han

Zhiwei Han currently serves as a Research Assistant at Fortiss since April 2018, focusing on theoretical analysis in object-centric learning and exploring areas such as causal learning, graph neural networks, and independent component analysis. Prior experience includes a thesis project on reinforcement learning for recommendation systems, an internship at AVL Software and Functions GmbH researching diagnostic algorithms in the automotive sector, and roles at the Technical University of Munich working on computer vision and reinforcement learning. Zhiwei Han holds a Doctorate in Electrical Engineering from the Technical University of Munich, expected in December 2026, and previously obtained a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and Electronics as well as a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering and Automation from Zhejiang University of Technology.
