Jie Qiu

Jie Qiu possesses extensive experience in the actuarial field, currently serving as an Assistant Vice President (AVP) at Fortitude Re since July 2022. Prior experience includes a nearly decade-long tenure at Transamerica, where Jie Qiu held various positions including Associate Actuary, Assistant Actuary, Actuarial Assistant, Actuarial Analyst, and Actuary Temp (Full Time Internship). Academic credentials include a Master of Science (MS) in Actuarial Science from the University of Iowa, obtained between 2011 and 2013, and a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Applied Mathematics from the Georgia Institute of Technology, earned from 2007 to 2011. Additionally, Jie Qiu contributed as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Iowa from August 2011 to May 2013.
