Josh Lauer

Josh Lauer, FSA, serves as Vice President of Data & Digital Transformation at Fortitude Re since January 2022, where responsibilities include leading the Data & Digital team and developing data-driven strategies for business growth and operational efficiency. Previously, as Assistant Vice President at Fortitude Re, Josh led LDTI implementation efforts and improved data integrity across the reinsurance lifecycle. Prior experience includes a Senior Associate role at PwC, where project delivery for diverse clients was managed, and mentorship was provided to junior staff. At Milliman, Josh held positions as Associate Actuary, applying advanced modeling techniques and transitioning clients to automated valuation processes. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics and Computer Science from Carthage College.
