Sharon Albert

Sharon Albert, CPA, CGMA, is an accomplished finance professional currently serving as AVP-Assistant Controller at Fortitude Re since October 2022, focusing on finance operational processes for a Life Insurance and Annuity company. Prior to this role, Sharon held various positions at Asurion from November 2005 to July 2022, including Director of Insurance Accounting and Sr. Manager of Insurance and Statutory Accounting. Earlier experience includes roles as a Sr. Financial Analyst at ClientLogic and an Accountant II/Internal Auditor at First American National Bank (Amsouth). Sharon holds a Master of Accountancy (MACCY) and a Bachelor of Accountancy (BACCY) from the University of Mississippi, as well as training from the Gartner (CEB) Finance Leadership Academy.
