Elizabeth Matthews has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Elizabeth began their career as a Business Development Executive at Practical Law Company in 2010. Elizabeth then served as a Business Development Manager at Investor Publishing Ltd from 2011 to 2014. Elizabeth subsequently joined Circle Health as an Investor Relations Lead and Shanghai Project Manager for three years. In 2017, they briefly worked as the Singapore Lead at Medopad. Elizabeth then became an Interim Business Development Consultant at Public Policy Projects in early 2018 and later transitioned to Commercial Manager at InHealth until 2019. Afterward, they became the National Development Manager - Hospital Pathways at Nuffield Health until 2021. Elizabeth's recent roles include serving as an Interim Transformation Program Manager at Healthcode Ltd in 2021 and subsequently taking on various positions at Fortius Clinic, including Business Development Manager, Head of UK Projects, and currently holding the role of Head of Digital Business Innovation.
Elizabeth Matthews obtained their Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree in Law with European Studies from the University of Leeds between 2003 and 2007. Following that, they went on to pursue a Master of Science (MSc) degree in International Business and Development from Birkbeck, University of London, from 2010 to 2012. More recently, from 2023 to 2025, they enrolled at UCL to complete an Executive Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree in Business Administration and Management with a general focus.
