Aaron Merkin

Aaron Merkin is an experienced technology leader with a strong background in industrial IoT and software solutions. As Chief Technology Officer at Fluke Reliability since January 2021, Aaron has driven corporate strategy and product development, achieving significant results including a strategic three-year plan and enhancing the portfolio through acquisition. Prior to Fluke, Aaron served as VP Chief Technology Officer for Honeywell Connected Industrial, leading a substantial R&D organization and delivering robust IoT solutions. Aaron’s earlier roles include Chief Technology Officer at Aclara, where contributions were made to smart infrastructure solutions, and Chief Architect at ABB, focusing on cloud-based Grid Automation software architecture and transitioning to a devops model. Aaron holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from North Carolina State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics from Florida Atlantic University.
