Uday Banerjee

Uday is Global Vice President of Managed Cybersecurity Services at Fortra. With more than 17 years of information security and security operations expertise, he thrives on solving meaningful challenges for customers and enabling a superlative customer experience. Uday leads Fortra’s efforts to respond to the growing need for organizations to look to outside security professionals to manage their security approach, including threat detection, response, and data loss prevention.

Throughout his career, Uday has built and matured SecOps and SecDevOps teams, led critical global expansion initiatives, and driven the operational launches of new managed service offerings. He joined Fortra in 2021 as Vice President of Operations to advance the company’s Digital Risk Protection services. Previously, Uday spent more than 16 years at Secureworks, most recently as Senior Director of Managed Security Services, where he led the strategic direction, guidance, and support for new and fast-growing capabilities.

Uday holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Gandhi Institute of Technology and Management in Visakhapatnam, India, and a Master of Science in Computer Engineering from Oregon State University in Corvallis.
