David Murphy WS has been actively involved in the legal field since March 2021 as a member of SCOTLIN - Scottish Law and Innovation Network. David serves on two sub-committees at The Law Society of Scotland, focusing on Health and Medical Law as well as Intellectual Property Law, since January 2022. At Edinburgh Law School, David has held the position of Ordinary Tutor since September 2015, providing expertise in Contract, Unjustified Enrichment, and Critical Legal Thinking, and was nominated for the Best Student Who Tutors EUSA Teaching Award in 2016/2017. In May 2023, David joined Fortrea as Corporate Counsel. Academically, David holds a Master of Laws in Medical Law and Ethics from The University of Edinburgh and has completed various legal qualifications, including a Diploma in Professional Legal Practice and a Graduate Certificate in Global Bioethics.
