Marlene K.

Marlene K. is an experienced professional in the field of translation and linguistic validation, currently serving as the eCOA Instrument & Translation Manager at Fortrea since January 2024. With a robust editorial background at Unbabel since April 2016, Marlene K. has held roles as a Senior Editor and Invited Evaluator. Previous experience includes managing linguistic validation and eCOA projects at Oxford University Innovation from September 2021 to January 2024, as well as contributing to the Center for Linguistics at the University of Lisbon from 2015 to 2023. Marlene K. also served as a German, Portuguese, and English Teacher and Deputy Manager at Wordculture Languages & Translations from September 2017 to August 2021, and was a Project Manager at Interserv AG in early 2017. Marlene K. holds a Master’s degree in Translation with honors and a Bachelor’s degree in Translation from the University of Lisbon.
