Mike Monroe

As Vice President of Professional Services, Monroe is responsible for Fortress’ Project Management Office, Implementation Engineering, Post Sales Client Support, and Software Engineering (Integrations) organizations serving the Critical Infrastructure, Manufacturing, and Department of Defense business lines.

Prior to his current position, Monroe served in many leadership and technology roles at Fortress. In his previous role, Director of PMO, he was responsible for building an organization that could support the growing portfolio and multiple verticals that teams support today. Prior to that, he served as the technology lead and manager for Fortress Cyber Security. In this role, he was responsible for the architectural design and leadership that resulted in multiple patents and CES awards for the proprietary embedded Unified Threat Management (UTM) Appliance.

Prior to his work at Fortress, Monroe established a remote office for Ubiquiti Networks and led a team of embedded software engineers in the design of MIMO products used in residential and SMB networks.

Monroe holds a Bachelor of Science Computer Information Systems, a Master of Business Administration concentration in Information Security Management, and a Master of Science Cyber Security from Saint Leo University.
