Peter Simons

Peter Simons has a strong background in financial services and compliance. Peter began their career at Goldman Sachs as an Associate from 1998 to 2004. Peter then moved on to Bernstein Private Wealth Management as an Administrative Officer from 2004 to 2005. Simons then worked at FINRA as a Regulatory Specialist from 2005 to 2011. Following this, they joined KPMG in 2011 as part of the Financial Services Advisory team, where they stayed until 2012. Simons then worked at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission as a Senior Staff Accountant for Investment Advisory/Investment Company Examinations from 2012 to 2023. Currently, they hold the position of Senior Vice President and Compliance Officer at Fortress Investment Group, starting in 2023.

Peter Simons has an MBA degree in Finance & Strategy and Leadership from Rutgers University. Peter also holds a BS degree in Finance from The College of New Jersey. In addition, they obtained the Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist (CAMS) certification from The Association of Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialists in 2008.
