Robert Michaels

Robert Michaels, CFA, currently serves as Managing Director at Fortress Investment Group since August 2023. Previously, Robert held roles as Senior Vice President and Vice President at CAIS, specializing in RIA Alternative Investments from March 2021 to July 2023. Prior experience includes serving in Multi-Asset Strategies Portfolio Management at BlackRock from June 2014 to March 2021, where Robert consulted on portfolio solutions for RIAs, Robos, and Family Offices. Robert's early career includes a Summer Associate position at BNP Paribas in 2013 and a Senior Consultant role at Charles Schwab from July 2009 to June 2012, along with an internship at Trad Index in June 2008. Robert earned an MBA in Capital Markets and Asset Management from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and holds a BS in Business Administration with a focus on Finance from the University of Arizona - Eller College of Management.
