Valeria Romero

Valeria Romero, MAcc, has extensive experience in the finance and accounting sectors, currently serving as a Senior Associate at Fortress Investment Group since November 2018, following roles as an Associate and Analyst within the same company. Prior to this, Valeria worked as an Assurance Associate at PwC from August 2016 to November 2018, and as a Senior Accountant at Pillar Income Asset Management for a brief period in 2016. Valeria's career began as an Accountant I at Hunt Companies from July 2014 to December 2015, and included an auditing role at Schmid, Broaddus, Nugent & Gano, P.C. in early 2014. Additional experience includes working as an Accounting Clerk and University Peer Leader while pursuing academic studies. Valeria earned a Master's Degree in Accountancy in 2015 and a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting in 2013, both from The University of Texas at El Paso.
