Linda Smith

Linda Smith has over 35 years of professional experience. Linda began their career in 1986 as a Personnel Specialist at the United States Air Force. In 2016, they joined Veris Group, LLC as an Analyst, Coalfire as an Associate, and CKSecurity Solutions, LLC as a Consultant. At CKSecurity Solutions, LLC, they conducted GAP analysis of SOPs against NIST SP 800-171 for selected controls, reviewed formatting inconsistencies, content and flow of documents ensuring procedures addressed NIST SP 800-171 and NIST SP 800-53 guidelines, and customized templates for SOPs. In 2022, they joined Fortreum as a Senior Security Consultant.

Linda Smith has a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology from Western Governors University, which they obtained between 2013 and 2015. Linda also has an Associate of Arts and Sciences (AAS) in Business Administration from Laurel Ridge Community College, which they obtained between 2008 and 2012. In addition, Linda has obtained several certifications, including Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) from (ISC)² in August 2021, Certified Authorization Professional (CAP) from (ISC)² in April 2016, A+ from CompTIA in November 2013, Network + from CompTIA in March 2015, Security + from CompTIA in March 2018, CCSK from Cloud Security Alliance, and Linux + from CompTIA.
