Richard Fleeman

Richard Fleeman has extensive experience in the security industry, beginning with their role as a Cross-Platform Analyst at Apple Computer in 1996. In 1997, they began working at IBM Internet Security Systems, where they held multiple roles including Security Compliance Manager, Security Service Leader, Wireless IDS Practice Lead/Architect, and Security Compliance Management/Systems Administration. In 2012, they joined Coalfire as a Managing Principal of Coalfire Labs and Director of Application Validation, where they were responsible for business and practice development for all solution/application validation and security assessment work. Richard is currently the Director at Fortreum, a position they have held since 2022.

Richard Fleeman attended Regis University from 2004 to 2009, studying Computer Science. Richard obtained the CompTIA A+ certification in July 2000, the CompTIA Network+ certification in September 2000, and the CompTIA IT Operations Specialist - CIOS Stackable Certification in September 2000. In April 2008, they achieved the Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification from (ISC)². In February 2013, they obtained the Certified Information Systems Auditor® (CISA) certification from ISACA. In October 2017, they achieved the GPEN certification from GIAC Certifications, and in February 2017 they obtained the OSWP certification from Offensive Security.
