Heidi Backman-Husenius

Heidi Backman-Husenius has a strong background in human resources, with extensive experience in various leadership roles at Fortum and Fortum Oyj. Heidi has held positions such as Vice President of People in the Nuclear Generation, Enabling Functions, and People Services departments, Vice President of People and Well-being in the Generation Division, Vice President HR for Finland, Vice President HR for Corporate Functions and Finland, and Vice President of HR. Heidi'sresponsibilities have included developing and implementing long-term people plans and strategies, leading HR teams and supporting management in HR-related issues. Heidi has also gained experience in payroll and TEM services and has strong leadership skills, managing both national and international HR teams. Earlier in their career, they worked as a personnel officer at Neste Oyj, supporting HR managers with various HR-related tasks.

Heidi Backman-Husenius completed their Master of Education degree in Education and Social Psychology from the University of Helsinki from 1994 to 1998. Heidi also participated in The Future Executive Program (FEP) at the Management Institute of Finland from 2012 to 2013.
