Jan-Erik Fredriksson

Jan-Erik Fredriksson has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Jan-Erik is currently working at Fortum as the SVP IT (CIO) since 2023, where they are responsible for driving digital transformation and creating digital services. Prior to that, from 2006 to 2023, they worked at If Insurance, starting as the Nordic Head of Motor Claims, Corporate Clients before transitioning to the role of Nordic Head of Digital, Analytics and BD, Claims. During their time at If Insurance, they increased the online claims operations, implemented new systems, and improved efficiency. Before that, they worked at McKinsey & Company as a Consultant, primarily focusing on strategic planning, risk management, and operational improvements. Jan-Erik also worked at the National Board of Taxes and Goldman Sachs in project management and analyst roles, respectively. Jan-Erik's work experience is in various industries and positions, showcasing their expertise in IT, digital transformation, claims operations, and strategic planning.

Jan-Erik Fredriksson earned their M.Sc. (econ.) degree in Finance and Economics from Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu during the period of 1997 to 2002. In 2001, they also completed a short-term program in Finance at Stockholm School of Economics, where they were awarded a Master of Science (MS) degree.
