Johan Blomdahl

Johan Blomdahl is an experienced professional in civil engineering, specializing in hydropower and dam construction. Currently serving as Manager of Large Project Portfolio Optimisation at Fortum since October 2020, Johan oversees portfolio optimisation for large hydro projects. Previously, at Sweco from October 2012 to October 2020, Johan held roles as Project Manager and Group Manager for Hydropower and Dams, focusing on concrete dams for hydropower and tailings. Earlier experience includes consulting at ÅF AB on dam safety enhancements within hydropower and an engineering internship at JM AB. Johan holds a Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering from KTH Royal Institute of Technology and has additional educational experience from the University of Gävle.
