Kari Korhonen

Kari Korhonen is an experienced project manager and engineering professional with a strong background in the energy sector, currently serving as Project Manager for Energy Solutions at Fortum since 2018, focusing on green field electric boiler plants and district heating solutions. Earlier roles at Fortum included Quality and Development Manager and General Manager in Engineering, where responsibilities encompassed operational management and the development of engineering services for various projects. Prior to Fortum, Kari held leadership positions at Outotec and Metso, managing plant engineering and customer order engineering departments with a focus on resources and project development. Kari holds a Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan and has further education from RMIT University.
