Lauren Simpson

Lauren Simpson currently serves as the Service Manager for Hydro at Fortum, a position held since October 2023. Previously, Lauren was the Application Services Lead at Drax Group from July 2022 to August 2023. An extensive tenure at bp spanned from January 2015 to July 2022, during which Lauren held roles as System Specialist, Compliance and Continuous Improvement Advisor, and Process Control Engineer. Earlier career experience includes positions as a Process Control Engineer, Technician, and I & E Technician at Cristal from March 2012 to December 2014, and roles as Electrical Maintenance Technician and Apprentice at Tata Steel in Europe from September 2005 to March 2012. Lauren earned a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Sheffield Hallam University between 2012 and 2014.
