Mikael Ljung

Mikael Ljung is a seasoned Maintenance Engineer and Project Manager at Fortum since December 2007, responsible for the planned maintenance of a 91.2MW Foster Wheeler CFB boiler as well as flue gas cleaning and fuel line operations. In addition to maintenance duties, Mikael leads day-to-day operations of the boiler and a 42MWe turbine, focusing on deviation control, optimizing operations, and coordinating work for both planned and unplanned downtimes. Previous experience includes roles as an Operating Engineer, Operating Technician, and Fuel Technician at Hellstens from December 2006 to December 2007. Mikael holds an Operations degree from Mälardalen University (2008) and has furthered studies at Stockholm University between 2012 and 2014.
