Timo Kivi has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Timo started their career at Canon Oy, where they went from being a Sales School graduate to becoming a Senior Account Manager. At Canon, they were recognized as the Sales Person of the Year in Finland. Timo then worked at Parametric Technologies as a Key Account Manager, selling CAD/CAM/CAE solutions to both existing and new customers. Timo later joined Daimler Finland Oy as an Account Executive.

Moving forward, Timo joined UUNET Finland as a Sales Manager, responsible for setting up a sales team before the IT Bubble burst in 2001. Afterwards, they transitioned to become a Global Account Director. Timo then worked at Verizon Business as a Country Manager, spearheading the company's sales efforts in Finland and achieving significant sales success with new customers. Timo also served as a Global Account Director for large Finnish accounts, consistently achieving recognition in Verizon's President Club.

At Interoute, Timo took on the role of Country Manager and led a team of nine employees in Finland. Timo successfully managed Finnish sales targets and implemented business transformation initiatives during their tenure. Most recently, they have been working at Fortum in various sales leadership roles. As a Sales Director, they oversaw the SmartLiving team focused on selling smart home/building services in Finland, Sweden, and Poland. Timo then became the Head of Sales for Heating and Cooling Finland, leading a team of four sales managers and had personal responsibility for key customers. Currently, they hold the role of Sales Director, Projects, Heating and Cooling Finland at Fortum.

Timo Kivi obtained an eMBA in International Management from Hanken School of Economics in 2008-2009. Prior to that, they completed a degree in Marketing (Yo-merkonomi) from Liikemiesten Kauppaoppilaitos from 1988-1990. Their earlier education includes attending Lauttasaaren Yhteiskoulu from 1981-1987, although specific degree information was not provided.
