Ulla Leppä has extensive work experience in various industries. In their most recent role as Director of Customer at Fortum, they led a team of professionals and was responsible for sales, key account management, marketing, product management, metering, customer life cycle processes, CX, and CI. Ulla was also a member of Fortum's DHC Finland management team. Prior to this, they worked at Loiste yhtiöt as VP and Head of Customer Integration, Branding & Communications, where they oversaw customer relations management, communications, PR, CSR, and marketing for multiple energy companies. Ulla also led digitalization projects and was responsible for the ERP project. Ulla Leppä also served as a Board Member at Lumituuli Oy and held multiple positions at Sanoma Media Finland, including President of the Kids Media & Licensing Unit, Publisher and Head of Digital for the Magazine Digital Unit, Director of Branding, and Business Area Manager. Ulla began their career as a Marketing Manager at Helsinki Media, where they had responsibilities in direct mail, telesales, contact center work, loyalty clubs, estimations, and budgets.
Ulla Leppä holds a Master's degree in Economics from Helsingin kauppakorkeakoulu, School of Economics, which was completed from 1989 to 1993. Additionally, they have pursued further education in Business Administration and Management through Aalto University Executive Education and Professional Development. In 2008, Ulla Leppä completed executive education at SanomaWSOY. Ulla also has completed a specialization in leadership at HELBUS Helsinki School of Business, with the field of study being "JOT, johtamisen erikoistutkinto." Most recently, in 2020, they participated in a program on Analytics and Data Strategy at Aalto University.
