Ville-Veikko Karhunen

Ville-Veikko Karhunen is an experienced professional in plant engineering and nuclear power management, currently serving as the Area Manager for Plant Engineering at Sweco Finland and as the Nuclear Business Lead. Since December 2008, Ville-Veikko has also worked as a Senior Project Management Consultant at Fortum, focusing on project engineering for nuclear power plants. Previous roles include Business Unit Manager and Engineering Manager at Rejlers Finland Oy, where responsibilities included leading nuclear engineering activities and managing client relationships. Ville-Veikko holds a Master’s Degree in Technology Administration and an MBA in International Business Management, alongside a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering. Additionally, Ville-Veikko is a Board Member at FinNuclear Association, promoting the interests of Finnish companies in the nuclear energy sector.
