Jim McTaggart

Jim is Senior Advisor to Fortuna. He was the co-founder and former Chairman and CEO of Marakon Associates, a boutique strategy and organizational consulting firm that pioneered the strategic application of value-based management. During his tenure, Marakon grew to more than 300 people in 6 offices with Fortune 100 clients in North America, Europe and Asia. He is the co-author of The Value Imperative, Managing for Superior Shareholder Returns on integrating advanced financial analysis and strategy development. He currently serves as a Senior Advisor to the Board and CEO practice of Spencer Stuart; a Senior Advisor, board member and investor in BERA Brand Management; and as a member of the board of directors of Lord Abbett, an institutional investor.
