Brenton McWhirter

Brenton McWhirter is an experienced geologist currently serving as the Study Manager for Fortuna Mining since September 2023, overseeing the Diamba Sud Study. Prior to this role, Brenton held the position of Study Manager and Senior Geologist at Chesser Resources Limited from April 2022 to November 2023, managing the Diamba Sud Feasibility Study. Brenton's career includes roles as a Senior Mine Geologist at Matsa Resources Limited, Project Geologist at Red 5 Limited's King of The Hills Gold Mine, and various positions including Underground Mine Geologist and Junior Geologist at Superior Gold Inc., Evolution Mining, and CuDeco Ltd, respectively. Brenton holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Geology/Earth Science from Federation University Australia, obtained between 2012 and 2014.
