Chitanya Karri

Chitanya Karri has a diverse work experience spanning multiple organizations and positions. Chitanya is currently serving as the Vice President of Global Strategic Sourcing at Fortune Brands Home & Security, where they lead the global strategic sourcing and supplier quality for the Outdoors & Security Division. Chitanya'sresponsibilities include designing and implementing a new sourcing and supplier quality organization, creating a sourcing operations team, and leading various strategic initiatives.

Before joining Fortune Brands, Chitanya worked at Tennant Company as the Sr. Director of Global Strategic Supply Chain. In this role, they were responsible for leading the global supply chain organization, overseeing direct material sourcing, indirect sourcing, supplier quality, transportation, and global trade compliance.

Prior to Tennant Company, Chitanya held multiple roles at Polaris Inc. These positions include Director of Strategic Sourcing for Supply Chain Transformation & Indirect Sourcing, Director of Strategic Sourcing for Direct Material, NPI & Acquisition Integration, Manager of NPI Sourcing, and Manager of Acquisition Integration. During their time at Polaris, they managed cross-functional teams, developed supply chain transformation strategies, directed large-scale sourcing projects, and led supply chain integration for multiple acquisitions.

Before joining Polaris, Chitanya worked at United Technologies as a Manager of Commodity Management, where they managed global raw material spend for fire extinguisher products and implemented commodity strategies and savings projects.

Chitanya's work experience also includes positions at Infosys Technologies Limited as a Project Leader, where they led a global team in a CMMI L5 project focusing on quality processes and ERP system transitions, and Cummins India as an Engineer in the Leadership Rotation Program, where they received commendation from the division CEO for optimizing the performance of a new ERP system.

Chitanya Karri holds a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Virginia Darden School of Business. They also have a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Computer Science & Engineering from the Government College of Engineering Aurangabad. In addition, Chitanya has obtained several certifications, including Leader Development from the University of Minnesota - Carlson School of Management, Project Management Professional (PMP)® from the Project Management Institute, Project Management / Information Technology from the Harvard Extension School, and Oracle Certified Professional - Oracle Internet Application Developer Rel. 6i from Oracle.
