Scott Barnes

Scott Barnes, MBA, CISSP, CISM, GSTRT, has a comprehensive work experience spanning over two decades in various roles related to information security and IT management. Scott is currently serving as the Director of Enterprise Cyber Security at Fortune Brands Home & Security. Prior to this, Scott held the position of Director of Global Information Security at Tenneco, where they were responsible for developing and implementing an information security program to protect the company's operations and brand. Before joining Tenneco, Scott worked at Cummins Inc. as the Senior Manager of Global Information Security. In this role, they established incident response and investigation services, executed identity and access management solutions, and contributed to the development of a PCI compliance program. Scott also served as the IT Audit and Compliance Manager, where they developed Sarbanes Oxley compliance solutions and controls, earning recognition from the company's top executives. Additionally, Scott served as the Manufacturing IT Site Leader and Manager of Operations and Architecture at Cummins Inc., where they delivered standardized processes, restructured IT systems, and designed IT architecture standards. In addition, Scott has a Master's Certificate in Information Technology Project Management from The George Washington University School of Business, completed in 2001.
