Steve Sharp has extensive work experience in product development strategy, engineering, and management roles. Steve is currently the Vice President of Product Development Strategy at Fortune Brands Innovations. Prior to that, they held positions as the Vice President of Product and Vice President of Global Engineering at The Master Lock Company. Before that, they worked at IDEX Corporation as the Director of Global New Product Development and Director of Engineering at Liquid Controls. Steve also has experience at Ingersoll Rand, where they served as a Global Advanced Development Manager and Global Technology Development Manager. Steve has a strong background in managing new product development, project resource plans, investment schedules, and long-term development plans. Steve is skilled in design activities and has expertise in fluid energy machines and rotary screw compressors.
Steve Sharp completed their education history as follows:
- From 1997 to 2001, they pursued a Ph.D. in the Graduate Program in Acoustics at Penn State University.
- Prior to that, they earned a Masters degree in the same program at Penn State University from 1994 to 1997.
- In 1991 to 1994, they completed a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering at Virginia Tech.
Additionally, Steve obtained a certification in "Kellogg on Branding" from Kellogg Executive Education in 2022.
