Emma Burleigh

Emma Burleigh is an accomplished journalist with extensive experience in editorial roles across various media organizations. Currently serving as an Editorial Newsroom Fellow at Fortune since January 2024, Emma previously interned at Observer, where responsibilities included editing, fact-checking, and publishing articles on diverse topics. Earlier experience as an Editorial Assistant at The China Project involved managing a team of interns and overseeing content related to China's culture and politics. Emma's background also includes writing and editing for Spoon University and serving as a Membership Development Specialist for Tri Delta. Educationally, Emma holds a Master of Arts in Global Journalism from New York University and a Bachelor's degree in International Relations and Affairs and Chinese from William & Mary. Emma’s international experience includes studying at Beijing Normal University, enhancing language proficiency.
