Carl Westerman is a seasoned Project Manager with extensive experience in the telecommunications sector, currently serving as RAN Project Manager at Fortysouth New Zealand since September 2023. Previously, Carl held the role of Project Manager at One New Zealand, managing the delivery of Radio technologies across the lower North Island from October 2020 to September 2023. Carl has also contributed as a Project Manager for the Rural Connectivity Group, overseeing RAN projects for the Rural Broadband Initiative, and has a significant background in managing FTTH network projects in Christchurch with Enable Fibre Broadband. Additional roles include Regional Manager for Huawei Technologies during the 2 Degrees Network Rollout and General Manager for Buildmaster Limited and Techmaster Limited, where Carl developed civil and technical build services. Carl's career began with positions at Alcatel-Lucent, Vodafone New Zealand, Siemens, and Orange.
