Camille Brunel is a seasoned writer and author with extensive experience in various literary roles. Currently serving as an author at Éditions ULMER since April 2024, and as a writer at CASTERMAN and ALMA EDITEUR - PARIS since January and August 2020 respectively, Brunel has a strong presence in the publishing industry. In addition to these positions, Brunel has been involved in facilitating workshops at Forum des Images and freelancing for Usbek & Rica since March 2013, focusing on society, culture, and animals. Previous experience includes roles as a film critic at Café des images, content writing for BNP Paribas's science fiction blog associated with the film "Valerian," and independent writing for D-Krypt. Brunel also has a background in education, having taught Modern Literature at a high school for seven years. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in Comparative Literature from Université Paris-Sorbonne.

A pioneering institution originally created with the ambition to constitute the audiovisual memory of Paris, the Forum des images is now dedicated to the “image” in all its forms. As both a witness and an acting player in contemporary developments, the Forum des images promotes confluence and synergy between cinema, digital art and creative industries through partnerships with institutions, companies and associations working at the crossroads of these fields. A place for programming, creation, hosting and supporting innovative creative projects for the general public and professionals, the institution is also committed to the development of digital culture. As such, since 2018 the Forum des images has opened "TUMO – Paris," a school of digital creation for 12-18 year-olds initiated by the City of Paris. This after school, innovative and free educational program is built around 8 specialties of creative technologies, including video games, animation and 3D modeling. With more than 2,000 screenings, festivals, conferences, debates and workshops, film lessons, masterclasses and meet-ups, the Forum des images offers moving image lovers, young and old, an abundant programming throughout the year, appreciated by both the general public and professionals.
