Douglas Hungerford began their work experience in 1983 as a Department Manager at BIC, where they stayed until 2006. Douglas then joined Bayer Material Science as a Plant Manager from 2006 to 2010. Afterwards, they worked at Tomtec Inc as a Vice President - General Manager for a brief period in 2010. From 2010 to 2017, they served as the Director of Operations at Materion Corporation. Currently, they are the Director of Engineering at Forum Plastics, LLC, where they have been working since 2017.
Douglas Hungerford completed their education in a chronological order. Douglas first attended Waterbury State Tech from 1980 to 1982, where they obtained an ASME degree in Engineering (Mechanical). Following this, they pursued their undergraduate studies at the University of New Haven, graduating with a BSME degree in Engineering (Mechanical) from 1985 to 1990. Later, Douglas returned to the University of New Haven for post-graduate studies, earning an MBA degree in Management (Business) from 1997 to 1999.
