Magnus Swanson

Magnus Swanson is an experienced executive and investor with a notable track record in various leadership roles. Currently, Magnus serves as a shareholder at Forumm since June 2023 and is a member of the Gabriel Investment Syndicate, where investment and mentoring activities are prominent. As Chairman of the National Galleries of Scotland Foundation since February 2017, Magnus supports artistic objectives and has significantly contributed to the organization as a trustee prior to this role. Additionally, as a director of the Nairn Improvement Community Enterprise since September 2012, Magnus is involved in community regeneration efforts. Magnus previously held the position of Executive Chairman at Law At Work from 2012 to 2021 and was Chairman of Golden Charter Ltd from June 2012 to November 2018. Earlier career highlights include serving as a partner and Chief Executive at Maclay Murray & Spens LLP from 1987 to 2012. Magnus holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) Hons from The University of Edinburgh.
