Chris Sang Min Shim

Chris Sang Min Shim is a shareholder at Greenberg Traurig, LLP since October 2025, previously serving as an associate in the Tax & Benefits practice at Ropes & Gray LLP from April 2016 to October 2025. Prior experience includes roles as a research assistant at Georgetown Law, summer associate positions at Ropes & Gray LLP and Shin & Kim, and legal internships with the United States Senate Committee on Finance and the Federation of Tax Administrators. Additionally, Chris has a legal background that includes a judicial internship with the United States Court of Federal Claims. Chris holds a J.D./LL.M. in Taxation from Georgetown Law and a Bachelor of Arts in Music Theory and Composition, Law and Society, and German from New York University. Chris is also a CFA Level 1 candidate.
