Balaji Kannan

Balaji Kannan has extensive experience in the automotive and manufacturing industries, currently serving as the India Sustainability CO2 Champion and Plant Manager at Forvia since February 2019, where previous roles have included Deputy Plant Manager and Production and Quality Manager. Prior to Forvia, Balaji held positions such as Assistant General Manager at Sathya Auto - India and UAP Manager at Faurecia. With a background that includes roles as APU Manager at Valeo and Manager at MANDO Automotive India Limited, Balaji's career began as a Senior Engineer at Sundram Fasteners Limited and as an Engineer at TVS Rubber. Balaji holds a Postgraduate Degree in Business Administration and Management from XLRI Delhi-NCR, and is pursuing a Postgraduate Diploma in Environmental Sustainability from Indira Gandhi National Open University. Balaji also earned a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering and a Bachelor of Business Administration from Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth University and Alagappa University, respectively, along with a Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from Govt. Polytechnic College.
