Brett Sorrell

Brett Sorrell currently serves as a Tax Accountant at Forvis Mazars US, a position held since June 2024. Previously, Brett was an Adjunct Professor at Evangel University, teaching Personal Finance from December 2023 to May 2024, and completed a Tax Internship at FORVIS from June 2023 to May 2024. During the academic career at Evangel University, spanning from August 2021 to May 2023, Brett also worked as a Resident Assistant. In the summer of 2022, an internship as an Intern Auditor was completed with the Office of the Missouri State Auditor, where participation in a performance audit and a city audit was undertaken, including field research to identify irregularities. Brett holds a Masters of Accountancy from Missouri State University and a Bachelor's degree in Accounting from Evangel University.
