Matvei Popov

Matvei Popov is a student AI researcher at Trinity University since May 2023, focusing on 3D animation synthesis and stylization using deep learning techniques. Previously, Matvei completed a research internship at InstaDeep in genomics foundation models and served as an ACM tutor while also gaining experience as an AI/ML intern at Forward Edge-AI, where work included deep reinforcement learning and anomaly detection. Matvei's career began as a software engineer at Wherezy and as an academic computing consultant at Trinity University. Matvei is pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Data Science at Trinity University, anticipated to graduate in May 2025, following the completion of a high school diploma at Ribet Academy in June 2021.
