Fabrizio Maccioni has worked in the technology industry since 1997. Fabrizio began their career as a Software Engineer at Techso/STMicroelectronics, where they were responsible for porting UNIX OS, from Intel 386 to STMicrolectronics platforms. In 2000, they joined Cisco Systems as a Software Engineer, where they were in charge of feasibility study, analysis, documentation and software development activities on several Cisco Catalyst 6500 Switch projects. In 2004, they moved to Tiscali Services as the Datacenter Network & Security Manager, where they were in charge of Tiscali Datacenters Network and Security activities. In 2013, they returned to Cisco as a Technical Marketing professional, where they focused on Programmability and Automation across Cisco Catalyst and Nexus platforms. Finally, in 2019, they joined Forward Networks, Inc. as the Director of Technical Marketing.

Fabrizio Maccioni attended ITIS OR High School from 1984 to 1990, where they earned a Diploma in Computer Science. Fabrizio then attended Università degli Studi di Cagliari from 1990 to 1997, where they earned a degree in Electronic Engineering with a focus on Electrical, Electronics and Communications Engineering. Additionally, they earned certifications from Pearson VUE, including Cisco CCNA (Cisco Certified Network Associate) in 2001, Cisco CCDA (Cisco Certified Design Associate) in 2002, and Cisco CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Professional) in 2003.
