Matthias C. Schroeder

Matthias C. Schroeder has had a long and varied career in the design industry. Matthias C. began their career in 1994 as an editor for local newspapers and TV stations. In 1999, they became a web designer for Buchholz Software. In 2000, they became a designer for New Color. In 2004, they co-founded SCHROEDER + WENDT and served as the CEO and UX Director. From 2008-2021, they served as a Member of the Directors' Board (Marketing/PR Director) for German UPA. In 2010, they founded UCDplus and served as CEO and UX Director. In 2014, they became a Sr. Interaction Designer for Intuit. Finally, from 2015-2021, they were the 1st UX Designer/Sr. UX Designer for Forward Networks, a Bay Area startup.

Matthias C. Schroeder attended Hochschule Magdeburg-Stendal from 2001 to 2007, where they earned a Diplom* Designer degree in Industrial Design with a focus on Interface Design.
