Rachel Grewal is the Head of Talent at Forward Partners. Rachel has over 10 years of experience in recruitment strategy, team management, and diversity and inclusion initiatives.
Rachel began their career as a Recruitment Consultant at a small firm in London. Rachel quickly rose through the ranks and was headhunted by the Financial Times (FT) to lead their global Talent Acquisition team.
At the FT, Rachel was responsible for partnering with executives on a global level to identify hiring needs and scale across 7 different teams, 4 continents involving 19 different Hiring Managers. Rachel also partnered closely with international technology business leaders to improve their engineering recruitment processes and candidate brand.
In just 14 months, Rachel's work at the FT left a lasting legacy as the Global TA Team now operates with improved technology and structure whilst being prioritised for investment by the Board.
Rachel has also adapted the current onboarding processes to a more virtual environment, addressing data and feedback from recent joiners to increase retention and sense of belonging. Rachel has collaborated with the HR Services team to reduce the time it takes to send out contracts to new hires in the UK and USA. And they have launched a recruitment video for the first time promoting DE&I initiatives within the FT.
Rachel Grewal has a BA (Hons) in Theirtory from the University of Southampton and is certified in Black Belt from Social Talent. Rachel attended Sydenham High School GDST.
They are on a team with Natalie Falconer - Head of People, Satnaam Dusanj - Head of Revenue, and Dahlia Jacobs - Head of Finance. Their manager is Nic Brisbourne, CEO & Managing Partner.
